This listing is for a very special instrument. This was my personal Soprano Saxophone for many years, and it is an amazing instrument. Originally, I had traveled to Japan on a tour and decided it would be a great place to buy a Yamaha soprano since I tried a few out in California on another trip. However, when I found myself in the shop looking at instruments, I discovered this beauty. Despite loving Yamaha Custom instruments when i tried them in the states, this instrument stood out as truly exceptional. I ended up buying this instrument on the spot and playing it ever since. It is my understanding that the final assembly was actually done in Japan, and it has a special engraved neck screw with RB inscribed on it. I love this instrument and am sad to see it go, but it will find a better home with you and will live on with its beautiful tone and great intonation. The Series III is one of the best Soprano Saxophones is available on the market today. This modern Soprano is a great instrument in every respect, with clear tone, easy response, and a great sound. Saxophonists can appreciate its even intonation and singing tone. This is one of the highest quality, most responsive saxophones on the market today.
Overall, this saxophone is in Absolutely Beautiful condition. The lacquer is still 99% present with only a few scratches on the instrument. The horn is free of any noticable dings or dents.  It is in gorgeous shape, it looks as well as it plays. Check out the photos!
The case is Original but is missing the Selmer logo. No mouthpiece with this instrument, and it includes both the straight and bent neck.  I In short, this is a great instrument, in great condition. Please take care of it.
