Schreiber & Sohne (Son’s) Wood Bassoon (AS-IS) #15911

For sale is a Wooden Schreiber & Sohne Bassoon in non-playing condition.  This instrument will need the attention of a repairperson to be made into playable condition.  The Schreiber instruments are overall excellent quality instruments.  They specialize in making intermediate instruments that are easy to learn on and last a long time.  Some of the pads have already been replaced by a previous technician.  There is one key that needs some soldering, but the remaining work should be centered around adjusting pads.  Cosmetically, the metal is tarnished but is able to be polished.  See photos for more information and ask any questions you need to know.  We are happy to help.  Includes a case and bocal, but the bocal is bent.
