Puchner Bassoon (Used) #5926

For sale is a Wooden Professional Puchner Bassoon in good condition.  Also included and includes a nice heavy duty hard case and a bocal.  These Professional instruments are made in germany and have a history of making some of the best bassoons in the world.  This particular instrument was made during the 1950s and was just overhauled with new pads.  All the pads are brand new, replaced during our overhaul process on this instrument.  It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down and responds as it should.  In terms of cosmetic condition it shows some wear from over the years, but still presents very well.    This is a great high end pre-professional bassoon, and because of the high quality Puchner design, you will find that it will play better than most other brands from this era. This is a great instrument for an intermediate player.  Its relatively low cost for the quality make it a great choice.  From a cosmetic perspective, this instrument shows some wear, but is in good condition overall.  The finish has worn through and has some chipping on the surface.  The metal plating is in good condition, but has wear on several keys.  it was polished but still shows markings.
