Fox Renard Model 41 Bassoon (Used) #4742

For sale is a Fox Model 41 in great condition, and includes a Case and a Bocal!   These high quality resonite bassoons are made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world.  This particular instrument has standard keywork.  The pads are in great condition because we have just finished overhauling this instrument and replaced the pads in the process.  It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down.  This is a great starter bassoon, and because of the high quality fox design, you will find that it will play better than many lesser quality wooden ones.  One bocal is included with the instrument.

From a cosmetic perspective, Most of the plastic body has scratching and small dings all around the instrument.  The metal plating has been machine polished and though it shows wear on the keys, is very beautiful.  This instrument plays great, and looks great.  There is some scratching on surface from use, but works just fine and presernts well from an audience perspective.
