Fox Renard Model 41 Bassoon (Used) #12063

For sale is a Fox Model 41 in great condition, and includes a hard Case and a Bocal!   These high quality resonite bassoons are made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world.  This particular instrument has standard keywork.  The pads are in great condition because we have just finished overhauling this instrument and replaced the pads in the process.  It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down.  This is a great starter bassoon, and because of the high quality fox design, you will find that it will play better than many lesser quality wooden ones.  One generic bocal is included with the instrument.

From a cosmetic perspective, Most of the plastic body has scratching and small dings all around the instrument.  The metal plating has been machine polished and though it shows wear on a few keys, is very beautiful.  This instrument plays great, and looks great.  There are some scratches on the wing joint surface from use, but this doesn’t contact the bore or the playability of the instrument.  Also included is a silk swab, seat strap, hand crutch, and reed.  Please ask any questions about this instrument, we are happy to help.
