Fox Renard Model 240 Bassoon (Used) #29400

GORGEOUS!  For sale is a very recent Fox Renard Artist Model 240 Wood bassoon in Excellent condition.  The Fox 240 is widely considered the best pre-professional bassoon available, and for the money you will not find a better instrument on the market today.  Its intonation is superb and the beautiful lyrical tone is perfect for solo work, and will last a player all the way through college even as a music major.  It has a serial number in the 29000 range, meaning it is relatively recent in its production for a used instrument, made around 1999. It is easy to play, still has that new bassoon smell, and is in great condition.  Its thick silver plating shines beautifully.  I fully guarantee the quality of this bassoon and can attest to its playability and tone.  It has some cosmetic imperfections from normal use, but you will not be disappointed by the instrument and the way it plays.  See the photos below of the instrument you will be receiving. This high quality Wooden bassoon is made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world. This instrument includes standard keywork for the high level intermediate player including high D and E.  A Fox CVX Bocal is included with this instrument as well.

Cosmetically, this instrument looks great from an audience perspective, but there are some imperfections on the finish on the wood.  Several pads were replaced during our  See photos below for more details.
