Fox Renard Model 222 Bassoon w/ High D (Used) #16596

For sale is a Fox Renard Model 222 wood bassoon in Great condition and New Pads and a New Protec case. This high quality Wooden bassoon is made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world. This instrument includes standard keywork with the High D Option. We have just finished overhauling this instrument and it plays wonderfully. All the pads were replaced on this bassoon, and now it plays cleanly and evenly up and down. This is a great high end pre-professional bassoon, and because of the high quality fox design, you will find that it will play better than most other brands. A bocal is included with this instrument as well. In terms of cosmetic condition, this instrument is in great condition. This instrument does show some wear over the years, but still presents very well. The Metal plating is nickel, and was polished to a shine.  However the plating surface some wear.  Look at the many close up photos below to get a better idea of the condition of the instrument.  There are some  scratches, dings, and enamel loss in several locations on the wood body.
